Amy Married Russell a few years ago and it was a fun and exciting experience for both of us.

We wanted it to be as relaxing and as enticing for our audience as we could. With that in mind, we created a dinner party whose main focus was on helping people relax, enjoy their time and have fun. Because of that, we went ahead with 15 people that are very close to us and we went on exploring the city and all it had to offer.

The ceremony took place and there was wonderful lighting and a stellar terrace to begin with. The location was also very close to the ocean, something that I really enjoyed quite a bit.

 

When it comes to the palette, I chose cream and gold. I believe that the best approach came from getting the table runners from a company, then I went ahead and sew them in order to create a very interesting, long and visually enticing tablecloth.

 

I also scoured a few charity shops in order to find some candle holders, vases and other types of items. Even when it came to the gown, I believed that vintage is a much better option all the time. Plus, this fit my Disco Dress just nicely, and that’s exactly what I wanted to get in the end.

 

My shoes were interesting, I went for some Christian Louboutins, I wanted these for a very long time and they really fit me perfectly, which is exactly what I wanted to be honest! I already had a few pairs ready for this, but the reality is that I wanted to prepare for the event in a proper manner, so the CL shoes were by far the best option.

I also opted for a great four course bespoke menu from the head chef, as he brought a complete menu with some great foods in it and I enjoyed that quite a lot to be honest.

I appreciate the fact that he added some interesting deserts like dark chocolate cremeux but he also brought in front some great dishes like beef sirloin and a tart made from duck egg. I even had a guest that was pregnant and the food was appreciated by her as well.

Each guest had flip flops as well as pashminas. We wanted everyone to be happy and to enjoy the experience, because we worked very hard to offer everyone the help and support they wanted. The great thing for all my guests is that they had the opportunity to keep everything, I didn’t ask for anything back!

What I believe to be the most important thing here is that you should always try to work with suppliers that you can trust. If you do that, you will always get to reach success. Fail to do that, and results will not be that great in the end!
